Condition (If... Else)

This step allows you to check conditions of various kinds during the task and depending on whether the condition is fulfilled or not fulfilled, perform steps into the blocks "If" or block "Else", respectively.

The condition is defined as "First variable (or value)" - "Condition" - "The second variable (or value)".

Condition:

set

variable is defined

not set

variable is not defined

equal

the first value equals to the second value

not equal

the first value not equals to the second value

contains

the first string includes a second string or coincides with it

not contains

the first string not includes a second string

starts from

the first string starts from the second string

not starts from

the first string not starts from the second string

ends with

the first string ends with the second string

not ends with

the first string not ends with the second string

less

the first value is less than the second value

less or equal

the first value is less than or equal to the second value

greater

the first value is greater than the second value

greater or equal

the first value is greater than or equal to the second value

It is possible to indicate the comparison of the first and the second values in several ways. To do this choose the way of comparing values in the dropdown list "Compare as".

empty (by default)

Automatic comparison

Examples: "abc" = "abc", 5 > 1, 33.0 = 33

string

Case-sensitive character by character comparison.

Examples: "TEST"! = "Test", "1"> "a", "xyz" = "xyz"

text

Insensitive character by character comparison.

Examples: "TEST" = "test", "a" <"b", "2/2/2009"> "1/3/2009", "2"> "10"

number

If the value is TEXT type, it is automatically converted to a number. When conversion is not possible - a condition shall be deemed not to be satisfied. Examples: "10"> "2", "5" = "0005", "2.7" = "2,7"

date

If the value is a text form, it is automatically converted to a date before the comparison. When conversion is not possible - a condition shall be deemed not to be satisfied. Examples: "02/02/2009" "" 1/3/2009 "," 01/20/2008 "=" 20/01/2008 "
